Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the General Manager to ensure day-to-day business operations run efficiently and effectively.
  • •Develop site-specific goals and objectives with the General Manager and company leaders, ensuring alignment and execution.
  • •Execute new programs, initiatives, and strategies to optimize network operations through work planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and collaboration.
  • •Monitor compliance with systems, policies, procedures, performance standards, and regulatory requirements, and take appropriate action.
  • •Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports, support hiring and training, and manage performance and succession planning.

Key Requirements

  • •2 years of actual people leadership experience and 4 years of logistics or supply chain experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • •Demonstrable experience leading or developing people, including managing CDL drivers.
  • •Transportation experience, including driving a vehicle transporter or tractor trailer, or equivalent Military experience (preferred).
  • •Ability to monitor adherence to systems, policies, procedures, performance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Ability to meet working conditions, including regular outdoor work and physical requirements of moving, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting.
