Job Summary

Design, develop, test, and debug integrated embedded real-time software in a Quick Response Capability (QRC) environment. Rapidly build and integrate software components across multiple languages while maintaining quality, configuration management, and end-user satisfaction. Work in cross-discipline teams to refine product concepts and measurable quality, participate in software component reviews, and mentor less experienced staff. Onsite in Plano, TX with occasional 5–10% business travel.

•Develop software rapidly within the QRC environment, including requirement discovery, security, operating system configurations, and product support.
•Architect, design, implement, test, and debug integrated embedded real-time software.
•Rapidly integrate software components into a customer-deployed product while maintaining quality, configuration management, and end-user satisfaction.
•Collaborate with cross-discipline teams and project managers to define and improve product concept, implementation, testability, and measurable quality.
•Teach, coach, and mentor less experienced staff; participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a degree in STEM and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant engineering experience.
•Experience developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications written in C++ (or closely related languages).
•Experience in computer scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl.
•RHEL operating system experience.
•Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
