Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Central Planning Team and provide functional leadership across program planning activities.
  • •Provide leadership, governance, and assurance for program-level planning, including strategic schedule management, roadmap development, reporting, and schedule risk analysis.
  • •Manage development, integration, and maintenance of strategic program schedules aligned to objectives and contractual deliverables.
  • •Collaborate with Risk and Planning & Controls Integration, Governance and Systems functions to support integrated schedule risk management and forecasting.
  • •Develop planning automation and reporting solutions (including Tableau dashboards), deliver executive planning reports and recommendations, and drive schedule quality and reporting continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated experience as a senior project manager/manager with significant program integration experience, ideally in defence.
  • •A detailed understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, and continuous improvement.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • •Strong communication skills at a senior level, plus stakeholder management and influence to meet objectives.
  • •Ability to achieve Registered Project Management status with AIPM (or equivalent) and be eligible for Australian defence NV1 security clearance and ITAR requirements.
