Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and support critical data center facility systems to maintain continuous uptime.
  • •Perform visual inspections and readings of equipment and systems to ensure reliable operations.
  • •Respond to alarms and troubleshoot faults, failures, and electrical/mechanical/environmental issues impacting uptime or availability.
  • •Coordinate with vendors and contractors to respond to issues and support maintenance or repairs.
  • •Execute preventive maintenance testing and complete tasks on a rotating two-week 12-hour shift schedule, including covering other technicians on PTO when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical, large generator systems, UPS systems operation, power distribution, or mechanical plant operations.
  • •2+ years of hands-on data center experience in critical facilities operations, maintenance, or a mission-critical environment.
  • •Ability to use Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; technical school, trade certification, military technical training, or related coursework preferred.
