Key Responsibilities

  • •Review, draft, revise, and negotiate customer-facing agreements such as sales contracts, master agreements, purchase orders, NDAs, amendments, and related commercial documents while managing risk.
  • •Lead contract reviews for U.S. federal, state, and municipal government customers, evaluating solicitations, representations and certifications, and applicable FAR/DFARS and agency requirements.
  • •Identify and coordinate required government contract clauses and subcontract flow-downs, partnering across Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Finance, Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, Quality, and Operations.
  • •Advise business partners on federal contracting risks and requirements, including compliance, records, audits, cybersecurity, domestic sourcing, pricing, changes, claims, disputes, and closeout.
  • •Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, clause libraries, policies, approval workflows, and deliver training to Sales and other teams on compliant contract administration.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience, with 3+ years reviewing and negotiating commercial and/or government contracts.
  • •Working knowledge of contract law with the ability to interpret complex requirements, assess risk, and translate legal concepts into practical guidance.
  • •Experience supporting U.S. federal, state, and municipal contracts or subcontracts, including familiarity with FAR requirements.
  • •Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, including handling confidential information.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience using contract lifecycle management, ERP, or related business systems.
