Job Summary

Provide overall leadership for Bromine plant operating areas in Magnolia, AR, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations. Supervise Area Supervisors and Operations Engineers, drive safety and environmental responsibility, and monitor production performance against safety, quality, and output targets. Lead continuous improvement, manage staffing, CAPEX, maintenance, and cost management, approve MOCs and permits, and ensure full compliance with Process Safety Management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide overall leadership of assigned operating areas to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operations.
•Oversee and support Area Supervisors and Operations Engineers, holding them accountable for technical and day-to-day leadership.
•Drive a culture of safety awareness and environmental responsibility across the organization.
•Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and efficiency.
•Approve MOCs, work permits, incident reports, and operating procedures; act as the escalation point for operational issues.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or related discipline).
•5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (chemical industry preferred).
•Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, including team development and accountability.
•Strong understanding of safe work practices, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.
•Proven ability to manage multiple operating units and competing priorities.
