Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and oversee Project Logistics operations to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient project cargo solutions.
  • •Manage end-to-end project shipment execution across freight forwarding, customs clearance, transport, warehousing, and final delivery.
  • •Monitor operational performance, shipment milestones, risks, and costs, implementing corrective actions to maintain service and financial performance.
  • •Manage job profitability, WIP, accruals, invoicing, and operational costs to support strong financial outcomes.
  • •Lead and develop the Project Logistics team, managing service providers and maintaining customer and internal stakeholder relationships while driving continuous improvement and business growth.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years’ experience in international freight forwarding, logistics, or project logistics, including complex project cargo and heavy-lift/end-to-end solutions.
  • •5+ years’ experience leading high-performing operational teams with strong customer, stakeholder, and vendor management.
  • •Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, the Australian logistics market, international trade, customs requirements, and Incoterms.
  • •Strong financial acumen, including job profitability, WIP, accruals, and cost management.
  • •Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
