Job Summary

Support guest dining and kitchen operations by stocking runner windows and bus stations, delivering cold and hot items, and clearing service areas. Maintain inventory for bus stations and quickly escalate shortages of bus tubs, silverware, or utensils. Act as the messenger between kitchen and front of house, help keep the expedite area clean and compliant with health and alcohol regulations, and assist with food expediting and light side work as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver cold and hot items following food servers’ orders and describe dishes clearly when delivered to tables.
•Stock kitchen runners’ windows and prepare condiments, silverware, and other items for delivery.
•Serve and clear items professionally and unobtrusively, bringing soiled dishes and service items to appropriate areas.
•Help keep the kitchen expedite area clean and compliant with health code and alcohol regulations, including light polishing and napkin folding as time permits.
•Maintain bus station and stock room order, manage inventory, expedite food when necessary, and notify management about equipment malfunctions.

Key Requirements

•Valid Food Safety/Health Card required.
•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills with basic reading and writing ability.
•Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant.
•Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, while adhering to safety policies.
