Key Responsibilities

  • •Co-lead Flight Test Mission Assurance Readiness reviews and support Mission Assurance scope on programs.
  • •Perform/lead Technical Independent Reviews and Root Cause Corrective Action efforts.
  • •Coordinate Mission Assurance activities with Division Chief Engineer, engineering leadership, and Program Chief Engineers.
  • •Co-chair and support Division, BDS Chief Engineer, and BDS CEO Safety Review Boards.
  • •Manage system safety engineers and execute Safety Management System four pillars, including escalation reporting and safety investigations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry (or non-US equivalent directly related to the work).
  • •Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance that requires U.S. citizenship.
  • •5+ years of experience in an engineering role.
  • •3+ years of experience in leadership, formally or informally, leading teams in a cross-functional environment.
  • •Experience assisting with safety processes in engineering.
