Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and prioritize opportunities to develop new Bakery technologies across multiple EUMs aligned to the enzyme portfolio.
  • •Lead cross-functional collaboration with global application teams to establish ways of working and enable effective regional partnership.
  • •Generate and oversee analytical data packages to substantiate technical value propositions, including development of new analytical techniques as needed.
  • •Design, screen, and optimize enzyme systems through hands-on characterization, activity and stability assessment, formulation development, and functionality evaluation.
  • •Translate scientific insights into practical, scalable solutions and produce clear technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field; PhD preferable but not essential.
  • •Highly preferable experience in R&D within Biotechnology or Food Science.
  • •Deep expertise in Bakery enzymes, including understanding of existing market technologies, how they work, and their mode of action, plus customer use cases and production challenges.
  • •Experience in enzyme characterization: developing, optimizing, and interpreting enzyme assays and analytical methodologies; Bakery enzyme application/performance analytics is highly desirable.
  • •Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
