Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and continuously evolve validation coverage strategy to maximize bug discovery and minimize customer escapes while aligning validation with real-world usage.
  • •Drive technical innovation to improve cross-validation, including content, tool and script development, and methodological enhancements across internal initiatives.
  • •Assess customer escapes and translate them into structured validation test plans to systematically close coverage gaps and prevent recurrence.
  • •Lead collaboration with multiple teams across AMD to ensure features are validated and optimized on time.
  • •Debug issues found during the validation process and oversee the production validation phases of SOC programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
  • •14+ years of exposure to pre-silicon + post-silicon validation including system-level validation
  • •Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g. C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python)
  • •Experience designing and evolving validation coverage strategies to maximize bug discovery and minimize customer escapes
  • •Proven ability to lead collaboration across multiple teams to validate and optimize features on time
