Job Summary

Own end-to-end sourcing execution for Lab and R&D capital equipment within the Sourcing Center of Excellence, specializing in CapEx equipment. Develop RFx, manage supplier communication, evaluate bids, and support awards while partnering with Legal and other stakeholders. Ensure sourcing documentation and governance artifacts are complete and audit-ready, manage supplier and delivery risk, and help with post-award onboarding and handoffs for operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute end-to-end sourcing projects for Lab and R&D equipment, including RFx development, supplier communication, bid evaluation, and award support.
•Select sourcing approaches (RFP, competitive bidding, benchmarking, targeted negotiation) based on tiering, risk, and investment thresholds.
•Act as the primary execution point of contact for equipment stakeholders and suppliers during sourcing events.
•Support commercial negotiations and coordinate with Legal and the Contracting CoE as needed.
•Ensure sourcing documentation, approvals (CARs, PRs), and handoffs are complete, accurate, and audit-ready; manage supplier and delivery risk and support post-award onboarding.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent practical experience).
•10+ years executing sourcing projects for Lab and R&D equipment or engineering-related spend.
•Strong RFx execution, supplier communication, and documentation skills.
•Strong exposure to Procurement systems and engineering drawings and specifications.
•Ability to operate independently within a governance-driven, tiered sourcing model.
