Key Responsibilities

  • •Verify routine product conformance to design requirements by providing objective evidence of results.
  • •Inspect incoming parts/materials and verify certification for outgoing orders, including checks for processing and special orders.
  • •Segregate, control, perform preliminary review, and disposition of non-conforming items and ensure disposition of conforming products.
  • •Perform dimensional inspections per design records and documented AQL levels, and conduct visual inspections for obvious defects.
  • •Review and disposition certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards; communicate with vendors as needed, and mentor the inspection team.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years’ related work experience using calipers, ring/pin gages, and comparator.
  • •4+ years’ experience in QA inspection methods and procedures, including reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints.
  • •Experience inspecting and reviewing certification/documentation for traceability and conformance to quality standards.
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
  • •Ability to pass a documented color and near vision exam.
