Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Data Sourcing Pipelines: architect data warehousing, ingestion and sourcing strategy, aggregating data from multiple SDKs into Blockworks’ data warehouse
  • •Design and Implement ETL Solutions: develop ETL approach, including blockchain node setup, data sourcing from 3rd parties, and modeling schemas in PostgreSQL
  • •Grow Shared Knowledge: provide technical leadership, guidance, and assistance on architectures and designs
  • •Drive Operational Efficiency: identify opportunities to improve data workflows and automate routine tasks
  • •Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Research, Product, and Engineering to lead initiatives and drive collaborations

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of hands-on experience with data modeling, schema design, data operations and data warehousing; crypto native
  • •Proficiency in Typescript, Go, and/or Python with strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, dbt, Hypertables)
  • •Experience creating data warehouses using Timescale, Snowflake, and/or BigQuery; familiarity with Docker, CI/CD and AWS
  • •Experience building backend systems at scale with a focus on data processing and ingestion
  • •Hands-on experience with Solana ingestion pipelines and decoding transactions, instructions, and events (bonus)
