Key Responsibilities

  • •Own deployment outcomes for assigned sites and data-hall waves, ensuring CU and hall ready-for-service dates are met and risks are escalated early.
  • •Engage from construction kickoff to confirm deployment readiness (floor access, power, network, receiving paths, partner staffing) and close gaps with site operations and facilities counterparts.
  • •Be on site at key points during delivery, deployment, QA, and close-out; verify work with direct observation and support on-site teams.
  • •Coordinate partner site leadership through rack delivery and receiving, integration QA, power-on/network turn-up, and burn-in/validation, setting daily priorities and quality gates using Anthropic-owned data.
  • •Validate handover gates for each CU and data hall and turn lessons learned into program-wide improvements to procedures, checklists, acceptance standards, and metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in data center operations or hardware deployment with accountability for delivery milestones.
  • •Proven track record leading compute or network hardware deployments at large scale across multiple sites/data-hall waves, from floor access through ready for service.
  • •Managed vendors, OEMs, or contract workforces to measurable outcomes (milestones, quality gates, operational reviews, corrective action).
  • •Hands-on technical depth in server, network, and rack-level hardware to independently verify deployment quality and audit vendor claims.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant domain or equivalent practical experience.
