Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage security aspects of an information system and support day-to-day security operations in collaboration with the ISSM and ISO.
  • •Develop and update authorization documentation and authorization packages, including preparing/reviewing authorization packages.
  • •Coordinate security-impacting changes across authorization boundaries and assess security impact before recommendations to the ISSM.
  • •Conduct periodic compliance reviews, execute cyber security self-inspection coordination, and ensure IS security documentation is current and accessible.
  • •Identify vulnerabilities, assist with countermeasures implementation, monitor system recovery processes, and prepare reports on security safeguards status.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of related experience, including developing RMF packages or body of evidence.
  • •Experience working with Special Access Programs (SAPs) is required.
  • •Prior performance in roles such as System/Network Administrator or ISSO.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in a related area plus 2 years’ experience, or equivalent experience (4 years).
  • •IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification within 6 months of hire (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security).
