Job Summary

Operate machinery in a highly automated meat processing/packaging facility to keep product flowing through production and ensure correct ingredients/supplies are used. Monitor and adjust machine settings, respond to system alerts, resolve jams and equipment malfunctions, and maintain safe, clean, Tyson-compliant work practices. Join either the Raw or RTE production areas, supporting throughput, yield, quality, and food safety while documenting work in the MES system.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate production machinery to ensure continuous flow of product through the production process.
•Monitor and adjust machine settings; identify and respond to system-based error messages and alerts.
•Resolve jams and equipment malfunctions and help maintain uptime.
•In Raw: combine raw ingredients and manage tasks such as lubrication, inspection adjustments, repairs, cleaning, sanitation, and line-side problem-solving.
•In RTE: monitor robotic pocket fill and related equipment, resolve jam-ups, identify product defects, and verify material quality using scales/scanners while maintaining throughput, yield, quality, and food safety.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 3 months of machine or packer operator experience and minimum of 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years (experience must be documented on the application).
•Operate machinery to maintain continuous product flow and ensure proper ingredients/supplies are used on the line.
•Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed and notify the supervisor if machines require maintenance.
•Resolve jams and equipment malfunctions while maintaining safe work practices.
•Be willing to meet physical requirements, including working in a cold/damp environment (28–42 degrees) and lifting/pushing/carrying up to 50 lbs.
