Job Summary

Supervise and inspect mechanical and MEP installation activities on a large-scale project in Dubai. Monitor contractor performance, oversee HVAC, chilled water, piping, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, pumps, and valves, and conduct inspections to confirm quality, workmanship, and compliance. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning to manage schedules, resolve technical issues and RFIs, maintain site records, and support testing, commissioning, handover, and closeout.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise day-to-day mechanical and MEP installation activities on site to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
•Monitor mechanical works across HVAC, chilled water, ductwork, piping, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, pumps, valves, and mechanical plant equipment.
•Conduct and support site inspections to verify installation quality, progress, workmanship, and compliance with project standards.
•Coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams (MEP engineers, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, consultants) and manage mechanical interface coordination.
•Maintain accurate daily records and support progress reporting, NCR follow-up, testing records, punch lists, and mechanical closeout activities.

Key Requirements

•15+ years of experience in mechanical supervision, MEP installation supervision, construction supervision, inspection, or mechanical construction management on large-scale projects.
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•Strong experience supervising and inspecting MEP and mechanical installation works on active construction sites.
•Solid understanding of mechanical construction methods, installation sequencing, inspection requirements, quality standards, and site execution practices.
•Ability to read and interpret mechanical/MEP coordination drawings, specifications, method statements, shop drawings, inspection requests, and test reports.
