Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator (Jackson, MS, US, 39204)

Operate heavy equipment in an open-pit mine environment, safely and efficiently across pit and mining operations. You’ll perform daily pre- and post-inspections with documentation, follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures, and coordinate with a Foreman and team while communicating during backing operations. Additional duties include minor servicing and maintenance, assisting in training less-experienced employees, and completing general labor or other assigned tasks as needed.
