Job Summary

Senior Software Engineer at Mercado Libre responsible for designing and scaling innovative, secure web applications (frontend and/or backend) with cutting-edge technologies. Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and evolve web applications used in Threat Modeling, Pentesting, and AI-Augmented AppSec.
•Integrate GenAI and automation to improve coverage, speed, and effectiveness of security exercises.
•Build and maintain APIs, workflows, and backend/frontend components focused on scalability, traceability, and user experience.
•Collaborate closely with security offensive teams, AppSec, and engineering to automate manual processes into intelligent platforms.
•Develop metrics, reporting, and inventory capabilities for security exercises to enable data-driven decisions.

Key Requirements

•Solid experience building modern web applications (frontend and/or backend) using React, Node.js, Python, TypeScript or similar.
•Experience developing Apps in Fury.
•Experience with cloud architectures, APIs, service integration and scalable solution design.
•Practical knowledge in Application Security, Secure SDLC, Pentesting, Threat Modeling or security automation.
•Experience integrating or building GenAI/LLMs-based solutions and AI-assisted workflows.
