Job Summary

Support a state Medicaid program’s Financial Federal Reporting by working within a Business Operations Support team. Review deliverables across the system development lifecycle, interface with state business users and vendors, and develop requirements documentation. Analyze business and technical needs, identify issues and risks, and provide recommendations. Execute testing, create and deliver presentations for business leaders and end-user training, and offer subject-matter expertise for Medicaid system changes.

Key Responsibilities

•Review project artifacts/deliverables throughout the system development life cycle for quality, compliance, and completeness and document findings.
•Interface with state business users and vendors to support analysis, planning, design, UAT, implementation, and evaluation of Medicaid system changes.
•Analyze technical, business, and user needs to develop requirements documentation.
•Identify and report project issues and risks, and research/provide recommendations on business problems and decisions.
•Develop and execute test cases, and develop/present training and formal presentations for business leaders, vendors, and end users.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years of experience supporting or developing Health Care systems.
•Minimum 6 years supporting large, complex Medicaid implementation projects and/or Medicaid business operations in a multi-vendor environment.
•Minimum 3 years supporting one or more state Medicaid Programs/MMIS, including benefit plan administration or claims or financial reporting (including MAR, CMS64 and TMSIS).
•Minimum 3 years working with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) vendors, specifically Gainwell Technologies.
•Minimum 3 years of experience eliciting and verifying business and technical requirements; plus system development methodology and project management principles (1+ year) and an undergraduate degree or 4 years relevant experience.
