Job Summary

Ensure plant equipment and machinery operate properly by troubleshooting electrical and electronic malfunctions and completing required electrical/mechanical repairs and maintenance. Maintain production equipment to optimize uptime, install wiring and conduit, read blueprints and wiring diagrams, diagnose and test faulty machinery, calibrate equipment to manufacturer specs, and keep maintenance tools and parts stocked while performing preventive maintenance and shop/area housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in the production area.
•Repair and adjust machinery, dismantling parts as needed to replace defective components.
•Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed or repaired machines and equipment.
•Prepare maintenance reports and maintain production equipment to optimize equipment uptime.
•Read blueprints and wiring diagrams, diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery, and calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent or completion of technical school or equivalent training, experience, and education.
•At least 2 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions.
•Knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements related to electrical and mechanical operations and components.
•Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
•Full knowledge of three-phase 480-volt equipment.
