Key Responsibilities

  • •Own mechanical technical ownership for a next generation product from design concept through manufacturing release.
  • •Lead mechanical design, analysis, and development of mechanical components and design solutions constrained by product requirements and manufacturing needs.
  • •Create SolidWorks CAD models to support simulation, prototyping, and mass production qualification.
  • •Generate technical documentation including 3D files, 2D drawings, bills of materials, and Engineering Change Orders.
  • •Design testing protocols and validation plans, manage testing processes, and conduct engineering root cause analyses.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • •4+ years designing, documenting, and validating complex mechanical parts for medium to high volume consumer electronics.
  • •4+ years of SolidWorks CAD experience, including part design/feature architecture, advanced assemblies, and configuration management.
  • •2+ years working with Tier 1 and 2 contract manufacturers in Asia and North America.
  • •Extensive experience in mechanical design and manufacturing for high-volume automated and manual assembly, including injection molded plastics and related processes/material selection.
