Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise data ingestion capabilities using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
  • •Manage and mentor an offshore team of data engineers, including sprint planning, prioritization, code quality, delivery execution, and operational support.
  • •Translate business requirements into ingestion architectures, engineering roadmaps, and delivery plans while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • •Define and implement reusable, metadata-driven ingestion frameworks to accelerate source onboarding, improve reliability, and reduce technical debt.
  • •Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to set ingestion standards, orchestration patterns, data quality controls, CI/CD, monitoring, lineage, and governance practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Design and modernize enterprise data ingestion architectures using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
  • •Experience with ETL/ELT design and migrating legacy data integration platforms to modern cloud architectures.
  • •Strong SQL and Python skills, including data modeling and reusable ingestion framework development.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Change Data Capture (CDC), and API-based integrations.
  • •Experience establishing CI/CD, monitoring/observability, and governance/lineage practices for data pipelines.
