Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of secure, reliable, robust, and interoperable payment acceptance products.
  • •Remain hands-on with architecture, design reviews, code reviews, technical troubleshooting, production readiness, and critical delivery decisions.
  • •Provide engineering leadership to align solutions with platform principles, architecture standards, and operational excellence expectations.
  • •Define and execute technical strategy for payment processing and acceptance platforms in line with product vision and long-term platform evolution.
  • •Apply AI/ML and Generative AI to improve engineering productivity and business outcomes, and coach/mentor engineers and engineering leaders.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 13+ years of relevant work experience.
  • •12+ years with a Bachelor’s, or 8-10 years with an advanced degree, or 6+ years with a PhD.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading software engineering teams with people management, coaching, performance development, and delivery accountability.
  • •Deep experience designing, building, and operating mission-critical distributed systems requiring high availability, scalability, resiliency, and security.
  • •Strong proficiency across modern software engineering practices including API design, system design, testing, deployment, and operational excellence.
