Own portfolio-wide natural gas strategy for on-site and campus-scale power generation across a growing data center site portfolio. Lead executive partnerships and complex negotiations with utilities, pipeline operators, and energy providers to secure transportation, supply, and capacity agreements. Structure commercial solutions for interconnections and pipeline extensions, develop hedging strategies for commodity risk, and collaborate cross-functionally to shape site selection, investment cases, and deployment of emergent generation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and execute the portfolio-wide natural gas strategy to ensure reliable, scalable fuel supply for on-site and campus-scale power generation.
•Lead negotiation of firm transportation, gas supply agreements, and capacity reservations; structure commercial solutions for interconnections and pipeline extensions.
•Design resilient gas delivery solutions (e.g., laterals and behind-the-meter infrastructure) and own hedging strategy to manage commodity price risk.
•Develop adoption of emergent generation technologies from pilots through portfolio deployment and deployment-ready business cases.
•Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, construction, legal, and finance; represent the company externally and mentor/develop team members.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 195,000 - 235,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field (engineering, business, construction management, real estate, or similar).
•12+ years of experience developing natural gas infrastructure for large industrial or mission-critical loads (e.g., data centers, power plants, refineries, military installations).
•5+ years of experience working for or partnering with gas utilities, pipeline companies, power plant facilities, energy developers, EPC firms, or large energy consumers.
•Demonstrated experience leading negotiation of gas service agreements, capacity reservations, and infrastructure development agreements through execution.
•Strong understanding of gas transmission and distribution systems, regulatory frameworks, and commercial structures.
