Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect critical supply chains and cost strategies for hardware from concept to deployment.
  • •Conduct supplier selection and partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development (requirements scoping, trade-off tables, should-cost models, and joint design development).
  • •Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers.
  • •Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility.
  • •Lead cost engineering and BOM risk/qualification work (alternate sourcing, component qualifications, complexity reduction, and total cost of ownership).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
  • •Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level.
  • •Ability to travel ~60% of the time, variable based on program needs.
  • •Ability to relocate (if not already local) to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.
