Job Summary

Architect supply chains and cost strategies for deployed defense hardware, from concept through deployment. •Conduct supplier selection and partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development (requirements scoping, trade-off tables, should-cost models, and joint design development).
•Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers.
•Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility.
•Lead cost engineering and BOM risk/qualification work (alternate sourcing, component qualifications, complexity reduction, and total cost of ownership).

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
•8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
•Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level.
•Ability to travel ~60% of the time, variable based on program needs.
•Ability to relocate (if not already local) to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.
