Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project teams to forecast demand, consolidate requirements, and build procurement plans aligned to operational and project priorities.
  • •Lead strategic sourcing and tender management, including RFI/RFQ/RFP processes from initiation through award, and provide technical/commercial evaluation recommendations.
  • •Review technical specifications, engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), scopes of work, and standards to ensure procurement solutions meet business and technical needs; evaluate deviations, alternatives, and lifecycle costs.
  • •Manage supplier, contract, and commercial activities: prequalify/evaluate suppliers, conduct due diligence, negotiate pricing and service levels, and monitor performance via KPIs and SLAs.
  • •Execute procurement operations and compliance: requisition-to-closeout activities (including expediting/receipt/closeout), support inspections and acceptance (FAT/SAT), and manage supply risk and regulatory/HSE/ISO/ESG compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •CIPS Level 4 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply or higher (or equivalent).
  • •6 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, engineering procurement, or contract management in aerospace/aviation/defence or complex hardware manufacturing.
  • •Experience sourcing technically complex, long-lead, safety-critical, and high-value components, materials, equipment, and services to support operations and project execution.
  • •Strong capability in supplier management, technical and commercial evaluation, tendering, contract administration, and interpreting engineering specifications, technical drawings, and BOMs.
