Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and timely load/unload quarry material to keep material flows continuous and uninterrupted.
  • •Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines and use required safety equipment under MSHA and company procedures.
  • •Operate heavy equipment (loaders, dozers, backhoes, draglines) for 8–10 hours per shift and perform pre-shift/post-shift inspections.
  • •Complete workplace and pre-shift equipment inspections, housekeeping, and secure the job site to eliminate hazards.
  • •Complete required data logs/reports and coordinate with Quarry Supervisor/Manager and other plant operators; assist with training as needed.
