Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage end-to-end tender processes, including scope development, market engagement, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
  • •Source, review, and benchmark supplier quotes for low to medium risk, complexity, and value contracts.
  • •Negotiate competitive rates and commercial terms, and draft contract documentation from templates (scopes of work, rates, special conditions, departures).
  • •Execute contract governance requirements and conduct post-award contract management (amendments, rate reviews, supplier benchmarking).
  • •Track commercial dashboard KPIs (e.g., lead times and supplier performance), address issues, and support continuous supply availability and improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Procurement experience, ideally from a mining or similar industry background.
  • •Experience leading tendering activities, including market engagement, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
  • •Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • •Strong written skills for preparing contract and commercial documentation.
  • •A current Australian driver’s licence is required (SAP ERP or Ariba experience is desirable).
