Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage projects on behalf of clients across all phases of the project rollout process.
  • •Develop and maintain project plans and schedules, and track/control construction schedule and costs to meet completion goals.
  • •Coordinate programme control and project management activities, including quality assurance, interface management, environmental mitigation monitoring, and systems integration.
  • •Administer construction contracts and ensure necessary permits/licenses and project documentation/reporting are completed within deadlines.
  • •Supervise assistant project managers and manage day-to-day project team activities, including coordinating contractors and reviewing drawings for compliance with specifications and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc/BTech/Diploma in the Built Environment.
  • •C.CPM/C.CM registration with SACPCMP (and ideal membership with a registered accreditation body).
  • •Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in the built environment, including 4+ years in construction management and construction project management.
  • •Knowledge of construction contracts and the basic principles of law of contracts.
  • •Experience in hospitality, commercial, and retail projects.
