Key Responsibilities

  • •Own adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and maintain accounting policies aligned with the business model.
  • •Design and oversee an internal controls framework for accounting policies with SOX effectiveness and audit readiness.
  • •Author original footnote disclosures, MD&A, and public communications that accurately reflect financial position for investors and auditors.
  • •Lead monthly close cycles, including stock-based compensation and equity-related journal entries, and publish investor reporting packages.
  • •Serve as the technical authority for complex accounting inquiries, partnering with Product, Legal, Finance & Strategy and external auditors to resolve issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • •US CPA (highly preferred).
  • •7+ years of progressive accounting experience with both technical depth and operational know-how.
  • •Big 4 audit/advisory experience (preferred) or equivalent exposure to complex accounting matters.
  • •Deep expertise in at least two areas such as ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 718 stock-based compensation, or ASC 805 business combinations and goodwill.
