Replace components (lights, brakes, bearings, springs) and service systems like gearboxes, hydraulics, and engine oils while controlling repair costs and keeping the shop clean.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles in a safe manner.
•Follow safety rules and regulations for MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, and conduct daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, TRACK).
•Examine vehicles to determine needed repairs in the shop and on the road.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, disassemble units, inspect parts for wear, and replace components such as lights, brakes, bearings, and springs.
•Service gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and engine oils, control repair costs, and keep the shop clean (including emptying oil and trash containers).

Key Requirements
