Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently install, terminate, test, and certify low-voltage cabling and structured wiring for residential AV, control, and security systems.
  • •Build, wire, label, and dress equipment racks and mount/install devices including televisions, speakers, cameras, touch panels, keypads, and other residential technology.
  • •Configure and commission complete residential AV/automation systems, including programming and troubleshooting device communication protocols.
  • •Set up and optimize residential networks (routers/switches/Wi-Fi, VLANs) and diagnose network-related performance issues affecting AV/automation devices.
  • •Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians by providing training, reviewing work quality, promoting safe practices, and supporting project execution and documentation.
