Job Summary

Provide client-facing legal and contractual support for large-scale construction and EPC projects in Dubai. Draft, review, and negotiate EPC and related contract documents, advise project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk allocation, and manage contract administration throughout procurement, delivery, construction, and closeout. Support tender and contract document reviews, advise on notices and variation/claims processes, and help prevent disputes through timely, accurate documentation and negotiation support.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide legal and contractual advisory support for EPC, construction, consultancy, subcontract, supplier, and professional services agreements.
•Draft, review, and negotiate EPC contracts, contract amendments, letters of intent, framework agreements, consultancy agreements, subcontract terms, and related documents.
•Advise project leadership and commercial/procurement teams on contractual rights, obligations, liabilities, risks, and remedies.
•Support tender and contract document development and risk review, including conditions of contract, scopes of work, payment terms, warranties, bonds, insurances, delay provisions, and termination clauses.
•Advise and support contract administration activities such as notices, change orders, claims/variations, delay events, dispute avoidance, and preparation of contractual letters and position papers.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience as a construction lawyer, contractual advisor, contracts specialist, legal counsel, or senior contracts professional supporting large-scale construction, EPC, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects.
•Bachelor’s degree in Law, Construction Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.
•Strong experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering EPC contracts.
•Strong knowledge of UAE construction law and/or FIDIC-based contracts.
•Experience advising on construction contracts and related agreements, including amendments, claims, variations, and dispute-related documentation.
