Lead the AWS alliance for Databricks in EMEA, owning technical strategy, partner enablement, and multicloud collaboration to drive adoption and consumption of the Data Intelligence Platform on AWS. Drive executive alignment, run trainings, develop reference architectures, and influence strategic accounts across the region.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Own the AWS-sourced pipeline and EMEA AWS consumption growth as the single AWS field SPOC, translating opportunities into Databricks ARR pipeline.
•Convene and grow the cross-EMEA AWS SME community and lead joint operating cadence with AWS Program/Field Engineering.
•Sustain training and enablement at scale (training 300+ AWS Solutions Architects; 50+ Databricks xSAs to AWS SA-Associate) and maintain the AWS Field Engineering Playbook.
•Own joint product contribution and reference architectures (e.g., QuickLaunch, Bedrock automation, CloudFormation networking, DEP architecture, remote-S3 residency patterns).
•Lead technical arbitration in dense multicloud accounts to unblock strategic opportunities and influence $1M+ ARR decisions.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•3+ years of technical pre-sales or sales methodology experience within a consumption-based model.
•Proficiency in coding in Python, Java, or Scala with comfort using infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation).
•Experience designing end-to-end data architectures for Big Data, Data Warehousing, and AI on MPP-based platforms.
•Deep AWS technical knowledge including PrivateLink, VPC Lattice, IAM, CloudFormation, AWS Marketplace, Amazon Bedrock, and Glue ↔ Unity Catalog federation.
•Ability to collaborate with senior executives and to run trainings, workshops, and webinars and author technical content (whitepapers, reference architectures, solution guides, playbooks).
