Lead business development and program management for transportation/infrastructure projects across Ohio, overseeing capture strategies, client relationships (including ODOT), and delivery from inception through closeout in a hybrid, multi-city setting (Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Akron) for active and prospective transportation clients.

•Formulate and execute project opportunity capture strategies, including teaming and positioning for strategic pursuits and identification of required staff resources to win and effectively deliver projects and programs
•Business Development including prospecting and proposal development with established relationships with local clients – including ODOT and local agency specifications, policies, and procedures
•Establish relationships with external and internal clients, build and maintain relationships with project owners
•Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting values internally and externally
•Manage and mentor staff to facilitate effective project and program delivery and promote staff development

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 145,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering (preferred)
•Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio or ability to obtain one within 6 months (preferred)
•6+ years of progressive experience designing and delivering projects (preferred)
•5 years’ experience with proposal and business development, client presentations and relationship development (preferred)
