Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently operate and adjust numerically controlled tape laminator machines according to shop practices and procedures.
  • •Review production/work orders and setup documents, ensure access to drawings/blueprints, and prepare correct materials and tools.
  • •Retrieve and download CNC programs to the machine controller, set coordinates and offsets, tool heights, and laser settings, and run layups.
  • •Monitor operations for unusual vibrations/sounds and check gauges/displays for warnings; perform hand trimming and rework as needed.
  • •Perform quality checks after each operation and handle/dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations using PPE.
