Job Summary

Proactively solicit residential mortgage business and build a referral network of real estate professionals, builders, and community contacts. Guide clients to the right loan program, complete and submit mortgage applications, and deliver required disclosures within compliance timelines. Analyze financial data to evaluate credit, collateral, and qualification, structure loans in line with federal and state regulations, and maintain client communication throughout the loan process while adhering to SAFE Act and HMDA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Proactively solicit new residential mortgage business and develop a referral network to generate recurring lending opportunities.
•Assist clients in determining the proper loan program and complete mortgage applications for loan processing and underwriting.
•Provide required initial disclosures within the compliance time frame.
•Establish and execute a marketing/business plan with target customers and referral sources, including contact frequency.
•Evaluate loan requests by analyzing financial data and structuring loans in compliance with federal and state regulations, while maintaining client contact throughout the process.

Key Requirements

•Two (2) years of mortgage lending experience with proven mortgage production.
•FHA/VA experience required.
•Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding lending and related consumer disclosure requirements, plus excellent knowledge of agency guidelines.
•Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to understand procedures and write correspondence.
•Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with strong data entry/keyboarding and math skills.
