Job Summary

Join the Equity Technology team as a Securities Finance Developer (Vice President) responsible for building and maintaining Jefferies' Global Securities Finance platform across on-prem and AWS, supporting front and middle office users across time zones. You will own projects end-to-end, craft robust code, and collaborate with global teams to deliver performant solutions.

Job Function: Executive & General Management

Key Responsibilities

•Development of the core in-house platforms, both on-prem and cloud (AWS)
•Owning specific projects or issues from start to finish
•Working with colleagues and management to ensure appropriate prioritization
•Unit testing, assisting with user testing, and working closely with the support and release management team to provide robust and performant solutions

Key Requirements

•Strong .NET skills, with server and ideally client-side experience
•Follows SOLID development principles, with experience of supportive frameworks/libraries
•Strong SQL knowledge, preferably MS SQL Server and/or MySQL
•Understanding of Securities Lending is desirable, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area, e.g. Equity swaps
•Proficiency in leveraging GitHub Copilot or Claude for productivity gains and to improve code quality
