  • •Utilize advanced geophysical equipment and observational skills to identify, designate, and locate utilities within a requested job scope.
  • •Perform vacuum excavation-based utility locating in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22.
  • •Apply deductive reasoning to troubleshoot and resolve field challenges during utility locating.
  • •Maintain the ability to learn new procedures and technologies used in SUE operations.
  • •Travel to and work at field locations as required, including overnight travel.

Key Requirements

  • •BS plus 2 years of related experience, or AS plus 4 years, or HS Diploma plus 6 years.
  • •SUE, private locating and/or surveying experience.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License to visit project sites and other AECOM locations; pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •Position requires frequent traveling to field locations and will include overnight travel.
  • •Frequent lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds and frequent outdoor work across varied seasonal weather conditions.
