Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the project manager to develop schedules and identify quality, cost control, safety, and environmental objectives.
  • •Ensure project inspections and documentation are completed per Kinder Morgan standards/procedures during design, fabrication, installation, testing, and documentation phases.
  • •Manage project inspection and construction personnel to maintain production, quality, cost control, safety, environmental stewardship, and professionalism.
  • •Develop pre-construction scope review inputs, operator qualification requirements, inspection team staffing and training documentation, and NDE requirements.
  • •Monitor construction activities, resolve disputes with contractors, support PSSR/commissioning, and review project closeout/redline documentation for completeness and accuracy.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED minimum.
  • •3 to 5 years’ experience in the pipeline construction industry with general knowledge of API standards.
  • •Familiarity with different construction techniques, including API 1104 welding procedures.
  • •Prior supervisory and/or project management experience.
  • •Familiarity with construction safety requirements (OSHA) and a current, valid State driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
