Key Responsibilities

  • •Escort defendants to and from courtrooms, cells and other areas within the court, including accompanying them to areas such as the toilet to ensure security and safety.
  • •Monitor and supervise detainees in the docks during court sessions to ensure they remain secure and not pose a risk.
  • •Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information discussed during court proceedings.
  • •Listen to harrowing testimonies and provide professional support to detainees while safeguarding emotional wellbeing.
  • •Ensure detainees have access to food and drink and monitor their health and safety throughout the day.

Key Requirements

  • •Current valid driver’s license
  • •Reasonably fit and have good written and verbal communications skills
