Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of engineers, set priorities, and be accountable for the metrics the team moves.
  • •Drive work across the self-serve funnel: signup/onboarding, first-run activation, trial-to-upgrade paths, and pricing/billing surfaces with the Billing team.
  • •Evolve experimentation foundations with the Data team, including flagging, instrumentation, and readouts.
  • •Run a fast, disciplined experimentation loop with hypotheses argued before building.
  • •Grow engineers through coaching and enabling high-quality execution, even on potentially short-lived work.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years managing engineers and owning a metric-driven team while also having strong engineering experience.
  • •Technically credible with senior engineers—engage in architecture and technical decisions and pass a senior IC-level technical assessment.
  • •Strong product sense: identify changes that create the most customer value, not just the biggest metric movement.
  • •Experience helping users get the most out of a complex product.
  • •Working fluency with experimentation frameworks, feature flags, A/B testing, and analytics instrumentation.
