Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform repairs and preventative maintenance, including initial and final inspections, on tactical GSE (power generation, fuel delivery systems, refrigerated systems, vans/trailers, and towing equipment) IAW AR 750-1.
  • •Diagnose malfunctions and repair GSE by studying drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical publications; use test equipment and tools and document maintenance actions.
  • •Advise and train lower grade workers on diagnosis and repair of less complex maintenance problems; inspect and approve completed maintenance actions.
  • •Monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and use automated maintenance data systems to track maintenance.
  • •Prepare GSE for storage and mobility deployment; operate, clean, inspect, and service GSE towing vehicles, including dispatch services and recordkeeping with good housekeeping, tool control, and FOD prevention.

Salary: USD 34.54 hourly

  • •Extremely knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1.
  • •Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background screening.
