Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot PCBA-level AMD GPU failures to improve yield and quality and support customer quality requests within expected timelines.
  • •Develop and execute DOE experiments to reproduce and isolate hard-to-find failures.
  • •Build automation/tools to run tests and analyze results and logs.
  • •Triage failures and coordinate with contract manufacturers and internal AMD teams to converge on failure reproduction and root cause identification.
  • •Document failures in an FA database, produce failure analysis reports, and present findings while implementing continuous improvements and new test-station setups.

Salary: USD 114,100 - 195,600 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience in PCBA diagnostics, failure analysis, and debug techniques from NPI through production.
  • •Deep expertise in GPU architecture with ability to develop debug, validation, and stress/functional test approaches.
  • •Proficient in Python and shell scripting, with experience working across Windows and Linux environments.
  • •Strong lab skills using equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, plus the ability to read schematics and interpret datasheets.
  • •Familiarity with firmware/driver and hardware interactions, and experience with PCBA manufacturing processes and IPC-A-610 quality standards.
