Key Responsibilities

•Own reliability of Supabase’s deployment and release systems and the control plane they run on, aligned to SLOs and error budgets
•Turn pre-production into trustworthy signals by standardizing and instrumenting deployment workflows
•Drive disaster-recovery readiness, enabling reproducible environment deployments and untangling configuration and dependencies
•Build and operate health and SLO monitoring for critical user flows using synthetic testing to catch regressions
•Participate in on-call, lead blameless postmortems, and turn findings into runbooks, alerting, and automation to reduce toil

•Operate production systems at scale with on-call ownership
•Fluent in SLAs, SLOs, error budgets, DORA metrics, and observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager)
•Led incident response (e.g., incident.io, PagerDuty, Opsgenie) and run blameless postmortems to reduce MTTD/MTTR
•Operate confidently on AWS and be comfortable with infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi, Terraform) and Kubernetes
