Job Summary

Design and architect large-scale data center infrastructure—from servers, storage, networking, power, cooling, and physical security to virtualized environments—ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Serve as a trusted technical advisor for pre-sales and client collaboration, producing solution and technical design documentation, network diagrams, and SOPs. Evaluate opportunities, lead/manage proofs of concept, and coach junior engineers while aligning solutions with business requirements and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and architect data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power and cooling, and physical security measures.
•Evaluate and recommend data center services, aligned with business requirements, security, and compliance.
•Develop network architectures and optimize virtualized environments using technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
•Provide pre-sales technical support by analyzing client requirements, preparing technical specifications/design documents, network diagrams, and technical documentation (including SOPs).
•Own proposed solutions across engagements, manage client proofs of concept (POC), transition work to delivery teams, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to opportunity pursuits and bid responses.

Key Requirements

•Seasoned professional technical experience in a large-scale technology environment, including data center technical architect or similar roles designing and implementing infrastructure solutions.
•Seasoned experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
•Relevant proficiency across Microsoft technologies including enterprise data center/vendor platforms such as HPE, Dell, VMware, Veeam, Cisco UCS, Brocade SAN, Cisco MDS SAN, and Nutanix concepts.
•Strong understanding of technical design principles and project/administration processes.
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or information systems, plus certifications aligned to enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, SOA, ITIL, COBIT) and vendor/product certifications; SAFe is advantageous.
