Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to Metals Recycling Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
  • •Inspect scrap metal shipments from truck, rail car, or ship to confirm conformance to specifications and absence of environmental hazards.
  • •Record inspection data (weight, grade, content, quantity) and notify supervisors of problems, recommending remedial procedures.
