Job Summary

Lead a team of data engineers and senior software engineers to define, build, and optimize enterprise data platforms and pipelines. Own Snowflake-based ELT and platform-native automation (including Snowpark), implement production dbt transformation layers, and enable governed BI consumption via Tableau. Drive adoption of lakehouse/data mesh architectures and AtScale semantic models for standardized KPIs. Manage production support, incident/problem processes, data quality gates, and mentor technical leaders.

Key Responsibilities

•Define the data engineering strategy aligned to organizational data and AI priorities, driving adoption of cloud-native platforms and modern architectures.
•Oversee design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and integrations, including scalable ELT workloads on Snowflake using Snowpark.
•Own dbt transformation layers (models/tests/docs) to deliver version-controlled, analytics-ready data products with repeatable deployments.
•Ensure reliable downstream BI consumption by enabling Tableau with governed/published data sources and performance-minded dashboard patterns; standardize KPIs using AtScale semantic models.
•Manage the data platform production support team by establishing incident/problem response procedures, escalation paths, post-incident learnings, and data quality gates.

Key Requirements

•Strong Snowflake data engineering skills including SQL and Snowpark, with incremental processing and operational automation.
•Proficiency in dbt for modular transformations with testing and documentation practices in production workflows.
•Experience enabling analytics through data visualization using Tableau or Python libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly.
•Strong cloud data platform expertise across Snowflake and GCP services (including BigQuery and Dataflow) to run production-grade pipelines.
•Proven CI/CD capability for data pipelines using modern DataOps practices, including automated build/test/deploy workflows.
